Ethernet Cables Around The World For Computer Networking:

Ethernet cables are largely used all around the world in computer networking. These cables come with many advantages. Reliability is one of the major benefits that come with Ethernet cables. They keep the data secure and safe. These cables provide you constant speed. Wired connections are easier to set up.

Even though wireless technology is booming but we can’t deny the importance of these cables. Being in the cabling business, I can tell you that if you are going to set up a new network, you need to do your homework. Get the right cable for your network and it will help you a lot with your networking needs. There are a couple of cables I’ll talk about in this review.

Let’s start with one of the most advanced cable available in the market. Yes, I am talking about 1000ft Cat6a Plenum. Do you ever feel that there should be a cable that comes with high speed, good data integrity, and fewer cross-talks? Well, cat6a is the answer. Since it has the data transfer speed of 650-750 MHZ so it is a perfect cable for applications like Ethernet, Fast Ethernet, and Gigabit Ethernet. Its outer jacket is made of high-quality fire-resistant material.

Cat6a is made of 23 AWG wire with four unshielded twisted pairs and eight conductors. Another dominating cable from category 6 is 1000ft Cat6 Plenum. This cable is backward compatible so you can use it with your older devices as well. Cat6 plenum is an unshielded twisted cable featuring 23 AWG wire. It has four pairs of wire with eight conductors. This cable is able to transfer data at the speed of 550 MHZ. It has a dense outer sheathing giving it a better chance against cross-talks and electromagnetic interferences. Cat6 has almost the same specifications as of Cat6a but there is a major price difference in these two cables.

Last but not least, 1000ft Cat5e Plenum. This is an enhanced category 5 cable that comes with many distinctive specifications. Cat5e was very popular before Cat6 came along. This cable will provide you a speed of 350 MHZ which is a reasonable speed for a home network or even for the smaller businesses. As for its performance concerns, it is made of 24 AWG wire with four unshielded twisted pairs and eight conductors. It has good conductivity. Except for frequency and inner structure, this cable is as good as cat6 but at a very low price than cat6. If you want to get these cables, I would recommend you to get them from Smartech Cables. They have high-quality cables at the market competitive rate.
